Chapter 31 - Emerald Eyed Luna

I opened the first book, Prophesy of the 1900’s. Scanning the pages, there are probably thousands of prophesies here!

‘Under the full moon, a full moon, when the moon and the sun are seen together, a baby of great power will be born’

‘A pure silver wolf will mate with a pure blood and together they will end the war, creating a new beginning’

How am I supposed to know what one would even be talking about me? I can already tell I am getting frustrated. I think I will keep this book for bedtime reading. Closing that one and placing to the side, I picked up Where do Prophesies Come From and What are They?

Opening that book, the first chapter said ‘Beginning’.

‘In the late 1800’s there were families that were pure in blood. They only mated with wolves who also came from families that were also pure blood. They even rejected their intended mates if they were not pure blood, believing it would create weak offspring. It was this fear and thinking that caused many fated matches to no product and the wolf population started to dwindle. The Moon Goddess saw this and decided she needed to intervene and ensure that the wolf population did not die out. She was very happy and loved her creations, so she decided to tempt fate. The Moon Goddess disguised herself and started living within the city. She would often show up to random people’s lives and tell them something that could alter their discussions to see if they would in-fact change the possible outcome.

Starting short, she went to a little boy and told him when he got older, he would meet a very pretty lady and he must not reject her regardless of what anyone else would say. She watched the little boy grow up and when he met his mate, who was not pure blood as he was, he accepted her, causing him to be thrown out of the pack and became rouge. Together they pushed on and started his own pack and growing so fast in size that it became the most feared pack. The Moon Goddess blessed this boy with a blood line so strong that nobody would be able to defeat them. Their pups had uncaining strength and ‘abilities’ that made them stand out from the rest.

Rumor was that these abilities included being able to know when someone will happen, telepathy, superior strength, enhanced speed, agility and intelligence. Many pups showed these features and they were targeted for this. The Moon Goddess started to see how the other wolves became jealous of this family and decided to create prophesies to help guide the family on how to stop these attacks and run a successful pack.

Other wolves did see how much prosperity came to this family by accepting a mate that was not of pure blood and followed suit. The Moon Goddess was happy the mates she selected were being accepted but still feared there would be a power-happy wolf that would try to bring them down. A witch even found the Moon Goddess, even when she was in disguise, and told her that ‘one day a man would come and destroy the remaining blood that is left of the original blood line and in thus taking all the power and abilities she would have for himself.

Unsure of when that would happen, the Moon Goddess gathered the most powerful witches, warlocks, crystals and together they created a prophesy to help the chosen descendant. This descendant would have a little of all the abilities but they were unsure of who would get born into this privilege. Thus, the Moon Goddess created mates that could potentially produce an heir. This heir would have to find a way to defeat this war and reclaim their rightful place and be the first King and Queen of their age.

After creating multiple prophesies that would help set the world up for the main battle that would take place, the Moon Goddess rested, and waited to see when the day would come that the true heir would be born.

‘On the fifth full moon on an even year, a baby will be born with the purest blood. This baby will have the ability to defeat any person who stands in their way. This person’s powers will not be fully unlocked until they are rightfully marked and mated. Together, they will lead the battle and the winner will be named the first King and Queen’’

Well, that is interesting! I had never heard that story before! The pages continue to describe what the additional prophesies are. Those must be what the other book has listed. Placing that one to the side, I grabbed the next one. Are Prophesies Real?

‘Prophesies are a guess made by witches and wizards that got told something from a crystal ball. Although witches and wizards are very powerful people, there is not any evidence that what they say will actually come true. Are they real because people choose to believe in them? Or would people choose differently had they never known about them in the first place?

Continue reading for more evidence why they could not be real.’

I looked at the book and it was in two sections. One disproving them altogether and the other putting merit into prophies and why we shouldn’t avoid them. I grabbed the last book. Understanding prophesies

‘Understanding a prophesy has a basic fundamental element. Everyone has a choice of free will. You choose your own actions. If you never heard of a certain prophesy and you find out after the event of said prophesy, would that have changed your actions? All anyone can do is speculate and choose the best action.

You are choosing to accept the word of a witch or wizard of said events that might happen. There have been documented testimonies of individuals that have stated the Moon Goddess, herself, has visited them in their dreams and told them of prophesies. Just because there is a prophesy about an event does not mean you do not get free will to choose how you react to the event. The Moon Goddess and witches/wizards are warning you of possible situations that you might be able to be prepared for if not for otherwise being unprepared. Most historic events have documented testimonies of individuals that said they were “warned” or told a prophesy before the events that caused them to be prepared, earning them a victory in said event.’

Right then my stomach started to rumble. I looked at the clock and realized it was dinner time. I had missed lunch altogether. Deciding I would take this book and the first with me, I placed the others back on the shelves. I grabbed the two I was going to borrow and made my way out of the library. Shutting the door behind me quietly, I started walking back toward my room. It was then that I was struck in the face by a punch that caused me to drop my books and instantly became pissed. I wasn’t surprised when I looked up to see who had punched like a weak bitch.
