5 years later
Jess’s POV
I can not believe it has been 5 years since I became a member of the Thunder Mountain pack. I was more than put back together by my new friends and family, I was more alive than I ever felt at Red Moon.
Jorge, Ryan, and Raphael helped me train and lose all my extra weight so now I was the number one female warrior in the pack, as well as one of the few sexiest women in the pack.
I was lean and fit with my own muscles being tight. My hair grew so much, that now when it is down, it goes to my butt.
Jorge found his mate 2 years ago. Her name is Stella. She and I became great friends. Stella and Jorge got married last year and have a one year old daughter named Star. Jorge named me the godmother of his daughter. Star gets along great with Ryan’s twins. Ryan and his mate Rose had fraternal twins. The oldest was a boy named Wilson and the youngest was a girl named Maria. Even though the twins are 3 and a half years older than Star, they love her to death.
Raphael finally just found his mate two weeks ago. I was when he and I were going to a neighboring pack to discuss business. I never saw Raphael act more like a star struck teenager than when he met Odette. The only time he couldn’t put his words into full sentences was when I was finally able to beat him, Ryan, and Jorge in a few rounds of sparring matches. She was the alpha’s niece visiting her uncle after just finishing school. She and Raphael were smitten as kittens with each other.
She and I get along quickly as well though she swears she will never get used to my tomboy antics. So we were making the arrangements for a Luna ceremony and a tournament for fun afterward. Odette, Stella, Rose, and I have been busy getting everything ready for the ceremony. The boys were in charge of setting up the tournament and inviting two other packs to join the festivities.
“Jess I have to ask you something important.” Raphael called from the doorway.
“Yes?” I still had my habit of bowing or standing taller when someone was speaking to me.
“I know you want to leave the past behind so I haven't told Odette what happened to you. But it seems we will need to invite Red Moon because Odette has some good friends there and she wanted them to come. Is that ok with you?” he asked while looking at his feet.
“I may not like what they have done to me Raphael and I am happy you are thinking of my feelings, but this is for you and Odette. I can not run from the past forever and if it helps the pack in the long run. I say go for it. Besides I can kick some ass in the tournament to prove that I am past them.” I said with a smirk.
Though what Ralphael doesn't know is that Odette already knows about my past. She happened to walk into my room while I was having one of my nightmares. She refused to leave the issue alone, so I told her. She even helped me find a new way of dealing with the nightmares by writing letters to my old packmates... mostly Roy and Alex.
He looked shocked at first before a big goofy brotherly smile formed on his face.
“You are by far the strongest woman I have ever met in my life. I hope you know I want you to be the godmother of my first child as a well little sister.”
“They hurry up and make an heir. You are already 27 years old, you old man. I'm not getting any younger here.”
We bust out laughing. I can’t wait until I can find someone to have a family with.
Third Person POV
Down in the Raven Moon pack, the famous triplet alphas received an invitation.
“Hey bros check this out.” the youngest one calls as he walks into their office.
“What's up Hero?” the oldest asked.
Hero held a letter in his hand and smiled. “Well remember our cousin from our Aunt's husband's side of the family from Black Moon?” his brother nodded.
“She found her mate. The alpha of the Thunder Mountain pack and they are having her Luna Ceremony in three days and a tournament day the day after. We were invited and we can bring some of our warriors to compete in the tournament.” His brothers looked at each other.
“I think it sounds like a great idea. Maybe with the tournament, we can find our own Luna.” said the middle child.
“What do you think Leo?” Hero said, looking at his oldest brother.
Leo smirked “Sounds like you and Zero really wanna go and it could prove beneficial to our pack later on down the road so I say we should get going.”
Zero and Hero jumped and high-fived each other. They started to prepare to head to Thunder Mountain.
Alex’s POV
It is been five long years since I have seen my little sister. I should have not been so harsh with her. If I was actually thinking back then I would have realized that she was only 13 when Luna died. Thinking about it now I was just point blank stupid for how I treated her.
I felt so lost without my twin with me. I was now the Beta of the Red Moon pack and Roy was the Alpha. He hasn’t really been himself either.
There was a knock on my door to my office, I could smell that it was my mate. “Come in Selena.” I called. Selena came in a while holding a letter.
“What’s the wrong Dear?” I asked.
“Nothing, one of my old friends from school met her mate and invited me to her Luna Ceremony. There is also a tournament day afterward so I was wondering if you and I could go along and see if Alpha Roy wants to go too.” she said while holding the letter out to me.
I saw that it was from the Thunder Mountain pack, and I thought maybe the tournament day would be a big stress reliever for us. “I’ll mind link Roy real quick.”
she nodded and I mind linked Roy.
“Hey Roy, we have been invited to a Luna ceremony and tournament day event in the Thunder Mountain pack. Would you like to join us and bring some warriors to compete?”
“Yeah, sure that sounds great. Maybe we can even make a peace pack with Alpha Raphael. I will let you handle the details.” he said.
I finished with my mind link and looked over at Selena. I smiled at her and said, “Looks like we are going to Thunder Mountain.” She jumped up and kissed me. We then left for her to get a new dress for the party.
I wonder if I will ever find Jess, so I can fix my mistakes or if I will never see her again as her letter said.
