"Lea is everything ok over here?" I asked her. "Yes these people were demanding to speak with you and i told them that you weren't working tonight i didn't want to disturb your dinner. "
"It's fine ill deal with these people" I said. After she walked off i looked at them and said. "Can i help you?"
"Yes you can help us you little bitch. We're broke and i know you have money. You need to give it to us or else" Anthony said.
"First of all, i don't have to give you jack shit. You are nothing to me and i could care less if your homeless and on the streets. Nonna has been my mother since i was five and i also have two dads who love me more than anything. And secondly if you two and your lazy assed kids got off your asses and actually worked for a living instead of spending money like its water, you wouldn't be broke. I don't have alot and even if i did i wouldn't give you a damn thing. Not even the sweat off my ass if you were dying of a thirst" i said.
I spoke low so that only they could hear me and no one else could. What happened next i didn't see coming.
Anthony yelled out "Your such an ungrateful little bitch" and then backhanded me hard across the face
After i got my bearings and got off the ground from Anthony smaking me hard. I reared back and kneed him in the balls and then knocked him out cold.
The walking tree's body guard was in front of me within seconds after i knocked Anthony out. He kept his body between mine and Anthony's just in case he woke up.
"Lea" i yelled "Please call the cops and get me a towel. Let Nonna know what's going on as well please."
Lea took off to do what i asked. Loretta tried to get Anthony up to leave before the cops got there, but one of the the trees other meatheads stepped in to keep her from leaving with him.
Lea didn't even make it to get Nonna. Id say that one of the tree's bodyguards texted him about what was going on because the guys all came running. And right behind them were the woman.
"What the hell is going on?" Domenico growled to his goons. They didn't know what happened exactly because they weren't close enough to hear what was going on.
His main guy looked at him and said "I watched her leave the bathroom and she was headed back to the private room that you were all in. She looked across this room and then turned and headed in this direction. I started this way and i had just got to the end of the hall when i see the guy on the floor back hand her. She was only down for a minute and when she came back up it was with a knee to the balls and then she knocked his ass out cold."
My back was to them so they couldn't see my face yet. I knew that when Nicco, Uncle Zain, Dante, Enzo, Chris and Ren seen my face they would go after Anthony.
I was so mad that i was shaking all over. I finally took a deep breath, or as deep as i could considering that fact my nose was broke and turned around to face them all.
When i turned around everyone gasped. "He hit me because i wouldn't give him money and he's broke. After he hit me and i got off of the floor i kneed him in his balls and then punched him in the face and knocked his ass out. Like big man here said. No man i don't care who the hell he is will ever put their hands on me. And no one who is apart of that family will ever hurt me again and not get hurt back" I said.
"You knocked him out. There's no way he's twice the size of you. Hell your so tiny i could pick you up and put you in my pocket" Domenico said with a sneer.
"Look Mr Walking Fucking Tree, i may be tiny but i've been in boxing and mma classes since i was five. I still do mma and even do fights. I know what the hell im doing. You don't know me or anything about me so keep your damn nose out of this, it's a family matter and your not family" I said and then turned my back on him.
"Sir, i was right here as well as the rest of the patroons and staff and we can all tell you he hit her and she kneed him and then hit him back. Here's a towel for you River your face is still bleeding and you've got a big cut on your cheeck as well. Cops are on their way as well" Lea said as she handed me a towl.
"Thank you Lea. Will you please check on everyone. They came for dinner and got a show also" I joked.
"Here let me see how bad it is" Nicco said. As he moved the towel to see how bad my face was Nonna went over to Loretta.
"I warned you and your worthless husband years ago when i took River from you to stay the hell away. If you two are broke then that is your problem. You are not our family any longer. You haven't been in years. The best damn thing for you and your worthless husband and kids to do is get jobs. Because you wont get money from anyone in my family ever" Nonna said to her.
"My father would be so dissappointed in you. In the fact that your going to just let your daughter and her family end up broke and homeless. He would hate you as much as i do for taking up for that worthless little bitch instead of your own daughter" Loretta yelled.
I have never seen my Nonna so mad since the day she took me out of the house of horror. Nonna reach her hand up and smacked Loretta so hard she staggered backwards.
"Dont you ever, and i mean EVER say shit like that to me again. Before your father died he said that you were the biggest disappointment he ever had. In fact he said you should've been shot down the drain or swallowed instead of being born. And if you don't believe me he said it in front of Zain, Luciano, and Angela. You are an evil human being and im ashamed that you are my daughter. There has only ever been one good thing come from you and that is my sweet River. She is my daughter now, not yours and has been for years. In case you forgot you signed over all of your rights to her when i took her from you when you left her to bleed to death on your basement floor. After the hell you people put her through, the fact that you actually think she would ever help you is just laughable."
"We didn't do anything to her. She did it to herself" Loretta said. "Im going to the bathroom to clean myself up and to rest my nose before i do something that will put me in jail. You know like kill her with a room full of witnesses. After all im not like the plastic bottle barbies who can cut open their little sister and get away with it by claiming she did it to herself. I will say this to you one last time Loretta stay the fuck away from me, all of you. Better yet Auntie Bell i want a restraining order on them all so they can't come around me" with that said i hobbled away.
I went into the bathroom and stood in front of a mirror. I just removed the towel when the door opened and Nonna, Nonna Anna, Angela, Bell and Carina walked in.
I felt around on my nose and when i figured out where it was broke, i got ahold of it and jerked it and restet it back into place.
"Son of a....monkey balls that hurt like a mother flucker" I said with my teeth gritted together.
While Carina laughed at me, Nonna, Bell, Anna and Angela was looking at me like i was nuts. "You should've waited, the cops just pulled up outside and a squad is with them. They could've done that for you. Come you need to get checked out" Nonna said.
"I've done it before Nonna but it's never been that bad. I'll let them check it out but im not going to the er. Im pretty sure i messed my ankle up as well. You wanted to have dinner with your friends and were going to. Besides im starving and want a giant burger" i said.
One of the guys knocked on the door to let us know that the cops wanted to talk to us and that the parametic's were there to look at my face.
We headed out into the main room and i walked outside the doors to the back of the squad to be checked out. While they made sure that my nose was reset right and stitched up my face a cop was asking me about what happened.
I told him exactly what happened and then he asked me why i wouldn't help out my parents and siblings. "First of all they are not my parents they are egg and sperm donors. My Nonna is my mother. She adopted me when i was five and they signed over all of their rights to me. Secondly i could care less if they are homeless and living on the streets, they are nothing to me" i said while giving him a dirty look from the corner of my eye.
"We both know why they signed their rights over don't we. You cut yourself and blamed your sisters and your Nonna made them sign their rights over. They all love you and you need help for all that you've done to them" the asshole cop sneered.
I was super pissed off now and when i looked up i realized that Uncle Zain was standing behind this asshole cop with another cop.
I took as deep of a breath as i was able to and then asked the paramedic if they were done yet. "Just about miss and then i'll get you taped up and give you extras incase you need it at home. I wont be but a couple of more minutes" He said.
"Ok thank you" I said to him. To the asshole cop i said "I don't know where you got your information from. My guess would be that you either work for Anthony or your sleeping with one of the plastic bottle bimbos. Either way you don't know shit because you were not there. It would be hard for a five year old girl to hold herself down all the while cutting herself from breastbone to crotch to stupid dick. And their was prof of them holding me down from the bruises on me. It would be hard for a two year old girl to lock herself into a trunk from the outside with a padlock for two days until the nanny found her as well. Soaked from sweat and covered in her own shit and piss. Or can you explain how that happened, how i was able to do that shit to myself. And those are just examples of the hell i went through there. So don't FUCKING pretend to know what you are talking about when you know NOTHING" I yell at him.
By the time i was done with my rant the paramedic was done stitching me up so i was looking right at the asshole cop. I was so pissed off that i was shaking. Even the paramedic was giving the cop the stink eye.
Uncle Zain and the Police Chief Roberts walked up to the cop. Chief Roberts said "I think that's about enough. Lets go Smith, you and i need to have a talk. Don't worry River I heard what happened to you and i even heard what you told him. Don't worry about anything we have it handled and ill be taking care of this. You get some some rest. Congratulations on the big win last week. I was there to cheer you on with my family."
"Thanks Chief, I appreciate it" I said. Uncle Zain and Chief Roberts shook hands and then the Chief walked away with the asshole cop.
When i was all bandaged up the paramedic checked out my ankle and said he thought it was just sprained but if it was still hurting tomorrow to get it checked out.
