D's PoV
Rishi and uncle left for work already! Ravi is in his room doing some research on his project. It’s just 10.30am and I am already bored.I just finished unpacking my luggage and setting up my wardrobe in our room. Yes, last night at dinner uncle strictly told Rishi that he has to share his room with me! Rishi and I talk occasionally, and he is not angry at me anymore, I guess. But we are still not in a smooth relationship.
We went to our kuladeivam temple with my family on Friday morning. That temple is located at the outskirts of the city and had a big empty ground behind it! We usually play cricket when we go there. That is once in a year when we come here for vacation.
This time too we played cricket. Me, Dakshu, Shanu, and anni on a team. Rishi, anna,dad, and perippa on a team. As usual the girls team won! We had good fun. We came back to My New Home in the evening.
Saturday morning, we went to Rishi's kuladeivam temple and did all the rituals. Sunday morning my family and some relatives came to change my nuptial from thread to chain. They all went after evening tea. My family left for Trichy. We were so busy and had company almost all the time. So, me and Rishi didn’t have any lone time.
Rishi reluctantly cleared his things and freed a wardrobe for me. He is not happy that I’m going to share his room. That makes me sad. I am now sitting on the bed in our room. I took out my phone to call my friends. Yes, I have my own new phone now. My dad gave it to me when they left.
I made a conference call connecting Indra(I),Uma(U),Yazhini(Y),Manoj(M) and
Rahul(R).They all picked up and we started talking.
D : "Hey guys! How are you all?"
I : "I’m good, D. So bored. Shall we come to your home in the evening?"
Y :"Hey that’s not fair. I vacated my hostel and came to Tanjore already. No meeting without me."
M : "We can video call you from D's place, Yazh. We are really getting bored. I have this whole week before I go to Bangalore to join my company."
R : "I vote for Yazhini. See, I’m not in Trichy either. I came to a wedding in Kaaraikudi."
U: "Whose number is this D?"
D : "Ufff! At Least you noticed. Guys guess what!? I have my new phone. A phone to myself! Save my number guys. You can call me anytime. This is my personal number, you see." Everyone is laughing?!
D: "Shut up! There is nothing to laugh at."
U : "Let me guess! You called us all to show off that you got a new cell phone for yourself. Am I right?"
D : "No you are wrong. I called you all to tell you guys I got married last week wednesday! Now I’m in Coimbatore in my hubby's house! My new home!"
All : "Whaaat?"
D : "Whoa calm down guys! Talk one at a time!"
I : "This is some sick joke, D. Don’t try humor. It’s not your genre."
D : "Idiot. I’m telling you the truth"
R : "You ran away with your lover? But you don’t have one! What the hell did you do?"
M : " Your parents know? You know your dad. He is going to kill us all. Where the hell are you in Coimbatore? All your relatives are there. Send us your address."
U : " D what did you do? With whom did you go to Coimbatore? Did you try helping someone? What took you so long to call us? I mean it’s already 5days."
Y : " D you are not joking right? Are you in some kind of trouble? Did someone kidnap you? Is there someone near you that you talk like you are happy?"
M : "You are still a virgin right? Say something idiot."
D : "Whoa! Manoj, stop it. You are gross. And guys don’t panic! My parents know! And I didn’t elope with my imaginary boyfriend! Nobody kidnapped me!"
Y : " You say you are married with your parent's consent? But you didn't invite us! And
How in the world did your parents manage to arrange a wedding in one week?"
I : "You already knew you are going to get married after one week of our college closure? And you did not tell us?"
D : " Stop it guys! Let me tell you the full story!"
I told them what happened! Except I lied to them that Rishi also recognized me at first sight! And we both willfully married! And now loving each other! What!? I don’t wanna hear them call me Names! These guys are far worse than Shanu! They will surely come and kill me for my madness!
U : "Awww! That’s a beautiful story with a happy ending D."
I : "We really missed your wedding D! But I am happy that you got your first crush! Now should I say first love?"
R : "That's definitely a childhood love! The waves between them are so strong! That’s why they got pulled into a marriage!"
M : "So finally you had a love marriage with your dad's approval! Our college seniors and other department boys that came after you are going to curse you! Hahaha!"
D : "Manoj, that’s not funny! It’s not a love marriage! It’s love after marriage! And never did I ever lead anyone on a false hope!"
R: "You know the truth D! You will say sorry only when they propose to you! But until then you never stopped them from coming after you! You lead them and enjoyed the attention!"
D : " Rahul! You make me look like a real bad girl! That’s not me! You guys enjoyed all the snacks from them too!"
I : "Boys stop it. That’s all part of college life! We all enjoyed it along with her! Now it’s no time to talk about that."
Y : " We so wish to see you D. But you guys need some time to understand each other! We will meet in 3months just as we planned! Until then, call us at least occasionally!"
D : "Sure guys! I will meet you all in 3months! Love you! See you!"
With that I cut the call and went to take a bath! The restroom has a big bathtub! I can spend another hour in the tub! Then go for lunch!
Whoa! Spending time alone is like a punishment!
